A wonderful brass Marine Sextant, manufactured by John Clark & Son, Greenock, Scotland, circa 1830.
This late Georgian nautical navigational piece features a 0-150 degree demi-lune scale and seven pivoting shades with lenses, all contained within a stunning crescent shaped mahogany case.
Though this piece can be neatly stored away, it is fully appreciated out of the box, and would make a splendid addition to a study room, desk or book shelf.
